If Dorado App Installer cannot recognize your device when connecting via USB cable, you can turn to the connection wizard for help to establish connection.

1. Download "Dorado App Installer for PC" to your PC.

2. Launch Dorado App Installer program and click "Connect device" of mini panel to open the connection wizard.

3. Under the "USB connection", there are detailed introductions about connect PC and device using USB cable.

3.1 Please make sure USB debugging is enabled.

3.2 Follow the steps in the Dorado App Installer Connection Wizard to establishconnection.

It requires you to enable USB Debugging and Unknown Sources to connect your device to Dorado App Installer.

Click Menu ->Settings - ->About device- ->Developer option on your device to enable Developer option.

3.3 Then, your phone should be able to connect to Dorado App Installer.

If it still doesn't work, please click "Still not working?"

Connect as Media device (MTP) or PC suit. This setting can be accessed by clicking "USB Connected" in the device’s notification center.

Now you must be able to connect you device to Dorado App Installer.

In order to successfully connect with Dorado App Installer and download Apps from Dorado App Installer; you need to enable USB Debugging and Unknown Sources on your device first.

1. USB Debugging and Unknown Sources

If you have trouble in connecting your Android device with Dorado App Installer, please make sure you have enabled USB Debugging and Unknown Sources on your phone. The option is required by Dorado App Installer for connection.

1.1 To enable USB Debugging, select Settings -> Developer option -> USB Debugging. Then select OK to confirm.

Note: On devices running Android 4.2 and newer, "Developer options" may be hidden by default, you can go to Settings -> About phone and tap Build number seven times to make it available.

1.2 To enable Unknown sources, Select Settings -> Security -> USB Unknown sources. Then select OK to confirm.

2. What is USB Debugging?

USB debugging is a development tool utilized to copy data between your device and computer. With "USB Debugging" enabled, Dorado App Installer can create a connection with your android device. On default, "USB Debugging" is disabled and requires to be enabled.

3. What is Unknown Source?

Unknown Source allows installation of App not found in the Android Market.

Now, you can try to re-plug in your USB Cord to establish connection.

1. About Unknown Sources

Android protects users from inadvertent download and install of Apps from locations other than Google Play (which is trusted). It blocks such installs until the user opts-in Unknown sources in settings. To allow the installation of Apps from other sources, users need to enable the Unknown sources setting on their devices.

2. Reason to enable Unknown Sources

Under Wi-Fi connection, you may fail to install Apps downloaded from Dorado App Installer. In this case, you can enable Unknown Sources and then retry to install the Apps.

3. Steps to enable Unknown Sources

1) Tap Settings on your device.

2) Tap Security.

3) Tap Unknown sources.

4) Tap Ok on the pop-up Attention.

5) Now you can see the Unknown sources has been enabled.

At the first time to connect your phone to Dorado App Installer, the USB Driver for your phone will be automatically installed to your PC. The time required to install the USB Driver depends on your internet connection speed. Please wait patiently for the process to complete. Your phone will not be able to connect to Dorado App Installer if the USB Driver is not installed successfully.

If the USB Driver cannot be installed, please provide the following information to us. We will try to solve your problem as soon as possible.

1. Your PC Operating System

Right click my computer on your PC, and then select Properties to find your PC Operating System. Please offer us the following information, including Windows edition, installed memory (RAM) and system type.

2. Your Phone Brand & Model & Your Phone Firmware Version

2.1 Your Phone Brand:

2.3 Your Phone Firmware Version:

Select Settings-> About phone to find Model number and Android version.

3. Find your hardware ID and send us the screenshot of it

You can find it by hovering on My Computer and click the right mouse button -> Manage -> Device Manager -> Android USB Device -> Select your device -> Properties -> Details -> Hardware ID)

4. The log

4.1. Would you please create two folders named "Log" and “Trace” on your Dorado App Installer destination location (You can find it by hovering on the Dorado App Installer icon and click the right mouse button--Properties--shortcut--Find file location)

4.2. Launch Dorado App Installer for a while.

4.3. Mail us the "Log" folder. We need it to track down what has caused the problem on your side! (The “Trace” folder is an auxiliary folder. There is no need to send this folder to us!)

4.4. After mailing us the “Log”, please delete it on your PC, or it will always make a record.

Note: You don’t have to create the “Log” folder if the folder has already existed.

Dorado App Installer for PC is a nice and handy Android PC Suite for new Android users to manage their Android Phone. By connecting Android phone to PC, users are able to backup phone contacts and files, download Android Games & Apps, view files in the Android Phone or even root Android phone, and many others. But before doing these amazing things, you have to first connect your Android Phone to PC, and open Dorado App Installer for PC to recognize the phone.

Steps:

1. USB Debugging and Unknown Sources

If you have trouble in connecting your Android device with Dorado App Installer, please make sure you have enabled USB Debugging and Unknown Sources on your device. These options are required by Dorado App Installer for connection.

On devices running Android 4.2 and newer, "Developer options" may be hidden by default, you can go to Settings ->About phone and tap Build number seven times to make it available.

USB Debugging and Unknown Sources (For Android 4.0 or Later version)

1.2 To enable Unknown sources, Select Settings -> Security -> USB Unknown sources. Then select OK to confirm.

Note: On different brand and different phone model, the location of the USB Debugging may be different. But please make sure these it has been enabled.

2. Make sure that the USB Connection Mode is correct

After turning on USB Debugging and Unknown Source, you can connect your Android device to Dorado App Installer using a USB cord. Please note that you may not connect your device to Dorado App Installer if you are using an improper USB Connection Mode.

The name for the USB Connection Mode is different on each device Brand, even for different device model within the same brand. So, we suggest you to switch among the USB Connection modes to try to establish connection.

Now you must be able to connect you device to Dorado App Installer.
